Zumo MP3 Loader is a Windows VB Script file that will help you arrange MP3 music files on your Garmin Zumo (r) MP3 player. If you have ever loaded a memory card with music, put it in your Zumo, and found that your GPS suddently takes up to 10 minutes to load and be useable, then you have not arranged your files in the most efficient manner.
For whatever reason, once you have over 100 or so MP3 files in a single folder, your Zumo takes forever to index them, and you cannot view the map, or perform any navigation functions while this takes place, which is definintely not an ideal scenario when your in an unfamiliar place, and need to get somewhere. It seems that the Zumo operates best when MP3 files are stored in folders, with about 12 files to each folder. Zumo MP3 Loader will take a folder on your computer loaded with music, and create a sequentially numbered folder on your Zumo memory card, placing 12 files in each folder.
